IMMA congratulates two of our esteemed members, The Greek Herald and The Jewish Independent, on their outstanding recognition at the 2025 Multicultural NSW Awards, held during the Premier’s Harmony Dinner last week.
The Greek Herald was named Multicultural Publication of the Year and The Jewish Independent’s Ruby Kraner-Tucci who received the Best Report in Multicultural Media award.
We take this moment to also acknowledge; IndiaLink, and Neos Kosmos, who were honoured in last year’s Victorian Multicultural Excellence Awards for their exceptional contributions to multicultural journalism.
IndianLink’s Melbourne Content Creator, Lakshmi Ganapathy, wins the 2024 Victorian Multicultural Award for Excellence. Sotiris Hatzimanolis the editor of Neos Kosmos was recognised as a tireless advocate for independent Greek Australian media.
These achievements highlight the invaluable role our media plays in shaping a socially cohesive Australia. They reflect the collective strength of IMMA and our sector.
IMMA congratulates all those members who have been recognised for their work and who elevate the landscape of multicultural media.
